Melrose, a registered Investment Advisor Representative, joins the Block 3 Strategy Group as a Managing Director. In this position, she is responsible for creating hyper-diverse alternative investment offerings that feature opportunities in the web3 and blockchain ecosystems, but also conscious alternative investments that work to move the human condition and planet forward in a positive direction. She focuses on private equity, private credit, real asset, real estate, hedge and venture opportunities that are SDG ranked green (impact positive or impact neutral ratings only).
MelRose has been successful in a range of positions in the financial services industry, from placement agent work in broker dealers, family office and private equity firms, to wealth management with a focus on alternative investments at Merrill Lynch. Disillusioned with the alternatives that wirehouse institutions can offer to their clients, MelRose seeks to find solutions for volatility in public market focused portfolios with specialized private market placements. She advocates investing in companies and funds that have at least one female operator, while also pursuing investments that are ethically aligned to a client’s life purpose and mission as part of their investment thesis.
Family oriented, with a love of travel, yoga, learning, plants and art, Melrose comes to the financial sector with a 15 year career as a small business owner and as a world recognized professional fashion model.
