Ron Grant

Co-Founder

Ron was President and COO of AOL, focused on market development and on repositioning and restructuring the company for acquisition or spin off. While at AOL, Ron developed and launched a successful digital publishing effort that addressed the challenge of how to profitably target an increasingly fragmented consumer audience. He built AOL’s “next generation” publishing model — a low cost, scalable, web-based publishing platform dedicated to capturing the attention of valuable audience niches. Ron joined AOL after four years as SVP of Operations at Time Warner, serving as senior advisor to CEO Jeff Bewkes and helping build the company’s “content-centric” corporate strategy. Earlier in his career, Ron was a Partner in the Communications, Information and Entertainment Practice of Mercer Management Consulting. Ron holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from Columbia and a BA in Economics from Dartmouth.
